Ukraine is located in Centre - East Europe, in a southeast of a part East of the European plain, between 44 "20" and 52 "20" northern breadthes and 22 "5" and 41 "15" east longitudes.

In the document the current key parameters of development of areas of Ukraine are given. The rating of regions paid off on the basis of these parameters.

At the International centre of perspective researches have explained, that on various parameters of economic development to each region of Ukraine the number was nominated which answers a position on dynamics or importance of the certain parameter of the appropriate region among all Ukrainian regions (1 number - last place, 27 numbers - first place).

In a summary rating of development of regions the Kharkov area has occupied the first place, having collected the greatest quantity of numbers - 19,5.
